Having targeted an ambitious top-three finish at the start of the season, there were few who paid heed to Salim's words. And for good reason too, as the Rams have ended up as wooden spoonists in each of the last three seasons. But some remarkable form this year has seen Woodlands being in the top half this late in the season, with Salim leading the side to three wins out of three in July to see them end the month in fourth spot. The former Singapore international is able to get the best out of his players and has made Woodlands a difficult team to beat.
