Recently crowned League Cup champions Balestier Khalsa and semi-finalists Woodlands Wellington locked horns at the Toa Payoh stadium to conclude their second round of the S.League fixtures.
Many would have expected the two sides to have meet in the League Cup finals a week ago, only for Woodlands to lose out to Brunei DPMM in the semis, with the latter suffering a heavy 4-0 defeat by Balestier in the finals.
