Foul! Ref, Oh Ref...

The boo-boos were out in full force over the game last night.  The referee robbed us of a fair play and the match commissioner tried to kill us!

The referee of the match last night decided to be the biggest wet blanket and we only protested when his mistakes were so obvious.  Fans and supporters do not have to take bad decisions in good fate!  And believe me, many were left frustrated by the rookie ref's dumb decisions.

And the match commissioner was only concerned HOW the referee was being jeered at, and not WHY.  There is an old Chinese saying : "There is no wave without a wind".  Pointing finger at others only leave you with more fingers pointing back at yourself.

And he wanted us to stop jeering?  We all know "Referee Kayu" is part of the football culture in Singapore.  If FAS wanted to stop this jeering, they should have done so long time ago.  Why start with us?

Hey.. jeering isn't an abuse; that is part of the game!  We, the supporters should have the right to bellow at poor performing referees all game long, as long as we do not run out onto the pitch or menace the officials.

Loud boos rang round the stadium as the match commissioner continued to look for ways to file a complaint against us.  Regardless of what, the booing continued. He wanted to make us look bad, but ended up looking like a clown. What a public relations disaster!

Maybe he picked on the wrong stadium, the wrong match and the wrong group.  Remember: This is Woodlands Stadium!  Our hometown, our land, our pitch!

For the record, the Black Sheep are supporters who show tremendous respect for our players and for the game.  We do not promote racism or violence of any kind. But that does not mean we have to tolerate nonsense from the officials.  Poor refereeing was seen week-in, week-out at matches all over the island, but the one I encountered last night was the worst.

If FAS keeps it up, they'll lose fans and the fans will lose their team. Look around the stadium, there are always a lot of empty seats at every game. If it was intended to be like this, then why do so much to promote S. League?  Failed ~ all efforts down the drain!

Tell the fans to shut up and keep quiet??!! Then organise the match behind closed doors or simply switch to host ping-pong games instead.

Hey, do u want something like this to happen?
