Here is an extract on Shariff Allapitchay:
After a year without a club, he has impressed so much that he has even earned a place in the national team. Has lost none of his trademark aggression, and seems to have also improved his reading of the game.
Congratulations to  Shariff for being part of this team. Well done!

Super, Super Moon!

The Black Sheep and the supporters of WWFC had double vision recently.  No, no, no...there is nothing wrong with their eyes.  But honestly they did see two super moons, but they are not complaining.  In fact they wanted more!

On 23 June 2013 a bigger and brighter Supermoon lighted up the Singapore sky.   It is called a Supermoon because this is a very noticeable alignment that at first glance would seem to have an effect.  Many reports showed that Supermoon will result in a dramatically large range of high and low ocean tides.

But nothing beats our own Super Moon from the North!  A quiet and "shy" person ~ Moon Soon-Ho created a dramatically big tide of joy in Hougang Stadium on Wednesday night.  For his fight to the very last minute paid off and created a huge tidal wave on the pitch, on the bench and in the stands!

So, we had a double joyous celebration ~ two super Super Moons in one month!

잘한  !

Robust Rivalry Ends In Woodlands’ Favour

Woodlands Wellington resumed their S.League campaign following a month-long break in perfect fashion as they edged past Hougang United with a last
gasp attempt by Moon Soon-Ho which was turned into his own goal by Cheetahs skipper Lau Meng Meng.

The Rams rightfully deserved all three points as they pushed forward tenaciously in search of the winner during the last quarter of the game and some scrappy defending by the Hougang backline allowed Moon to skip pass a tackle and create the goal with virtually the last kick of the match, sending the Woodlands bench and away stands into waves of celebration.

Wasteful Cheetahs Fall To Last-Gasp Rams Strike

Moon Soon-ho punished the luckless hosts as his 93rd-minute winner deflected off Lau Meng Meng to settle a war of attrition, with goalkeeper Yazid Yasin shining for the away side.

If you don’t take your chances, you will be punished. That is how one of the clichés in football goes, and it certainly applied to the S.League game between Hougang United and Woodlands Wellington on Wednesday night.

The Cheetahs failed to bury any of the golden opportunities they had against the visiting Rams and almost inevitably, fell to a last-gasp goal.
