Japanese On Target As Rams Held By Warriors To Stalemate

Woodlands Wellington left the Choa Chu Kang Stadium in disappointment as the Rams failed to hold on to their lead till the very end with Tatsuro Inui curling in a free-kick two minutes from time to cancel out Atsushi Shimono’s brilliant opener in the 62nd minute.

It was deja vu for the Rams as it was also a late Inui free-kick in the reverse fixture earlier in the season which was turned in by Shimpei Sakurada to bring the game to a 2-2 deadlock.
