Shimono certainly had no room for sentiment on Tuesday as he helped Woodlands inflict a first defeat of the campaign on former employers Albirex.
The midfield dynamo was at his all-action best as he linked up the play with his tireless running and tidy distribution, and must now be one of the first names on coach Salim Moin's team sheet.
Congratulations to Atsushi Shimono for being part of this team. Well done!
