Woodlands Stadium erupted in eruphoria when the final whistle was blown last evening as Woodlands Wellington managed to overcome an gargantuan task by doing what five other team failed to do so far, beating the previously infallible Alberix Niigata White Swans and ending their dreamy unbeaten start to the campaign.
The victory saw the Rams move into an interim fifth spot with splendid goals from Khalid Hamdaoui and Chang Jo-Yoon cancelling out Kento Nagasaki’s brilliant equalizer in the second half.
