Woodlands Wellington succumbed to a 3-goal defeat to amateur league champions SCC Firsts in a match which was played under torrential rain for the better part of yesterday evening.
Woodlands head coach Salim Moin opted to leave out several key players like Atsushi Shimono, Khalid Hamdoui and Shahril Alias in the first half which saw an experimental side concede 2 goals against a fluid SCC side which fielded an all foreign lineup including the likes of former Etoile FC players, Anthony Moulin and Julien Durand, and Zambian midfielder Mutanda Kwesele.
