Salim Moin Lauds Marvellous Yazid Yasin

One thing Woodlands Wellington faithfuls would bring back apart from the 2-3 loss to Home United would be the honour of having former Singapore international Yazid Yasin as their custodian.
The 34 year old made a total of ten top class saves throughout the match, including denying Sirina Camara from the penalty spot.

Home United kept their hopes of finishing in the top two alive after a nail biting 3-2 victory over a stubborn Woodlands Wellington side.
With the two teams sharing the same points prior to kick-off, both coaches, Salim Moin and Lee Lim Saeng were aiming for nothing but a victory.
The Korean left the stadium the fortunate one, as his team is only trailing Albirex Niigata (S) by a point, after collecting maximum points at the Woodlands stadium.

Preview: Woodlands Wellington FC vs Home United FC

Uniformed giants Home United continue their chase for second place when they travel to Woodlands, who are themselves targeting a top-three finish.
The Protectors suffered a shock 3-0 loss to Hougang United in their last game when a win would have taken them to second spot, but fortunately for them Albirex Niigata lost as well, thus leaving them still one point behind the Japanese side.

Salim: Full credits to my players who fought very well till the final whistle
Woodlands Wellington’s head coach Salim Moin heaved a sigh of relief when referee Ahmad A’Qashah blew the final whistle, as the Rams emerged 2-1 victors against Balestier Khalsa thanks to a late goal by Chang Jo Yoon.
The Rams outfit took the lead in the 22nd minute courtesy of Yusiskandar Yusop own goal but it was cancelled out through Park Kang Jin in the 77th minute, before Korean striker Chang headed in the winner six minutes from time.
