Woodlands Wellington To Stay In S.League For 2013

The Rams have denied earlier reports of the club sitting out of next season's S.League due to financial concerns, and are targeting a top-eight finish.

Fans from Woodlands Wellington FC held an open meeting with club officials on Thursday evening, following a local media report on the possibility of the club sitting out for the 2013 season due to financial reasons.

Representing the club during the two-hour long session were team manager Matthew Tay and the Rams' technical consultant Tee Tan.

Video~ Our Blacksheep Superstars!

Baa Baa Black Sheep making their first recording for the outreach programme.

Hussain needs no introduction.  For he is well-known within the local football cirlce, and everyone knows when he sings, he could be heard miles away.  Hence, they nicknamed "The Loudhailer".  Oops...sorry Chief!

Ben is truly the family guy who brought along his lovable son, Dylan, to the games whenever he can.  Dylan is pro-active in the stand, cheering and singing for the Rams.

I am totally taken by the deep baritone voice of Sean, which added some richness to our cheers and chants.

Tonight is the last match for this season.   Although the team didn't performed too well this season, that didn't stop the Black Sheep from travelling to Queenstown Stadium for the finale.  Passion for the team never dies!!!

Many of us couldn't make it tonight, and although the group was small in number, but boy...they were LOUD!! The chanting and drumming echoed round the stadium.  And the RAMS certainly sensed the supporters' presence and awarded them with a 3-2 win.

Well done Rams & Blacksheep!!!

Woodlands Claim Long-Awaited Third Win

Woodlands Wellington took just 12 minutes early on to find the net three times, but they almost let their 3-0 lead slip before hanging on to beat Tanjong Pagar United 3-2 on a waterlogged Queenstown Stadium pitch on Sunday evening.

It was only the third time this season that the Rams collected maximum points, and it was also their first victory since winning back-to-back games at the start of the campaign.
