Rashid Jalaluddin suffered a broken shin during today's prime league match against NFA Reds on 20 April 2013 and was admitted at NUH.
Few days later, he was discharged, no surgery was needed, but was in cast for the time being. However, after two weeks in cast, doctor at NUH decided that Rashid had to undergo surgery.
A visit to a specialist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital for confirming the best solution - surgery. With a rod inserted below his knee down to his ankle, the surgery was succesfully done 3 weeks ago.
Last week, the stitches were removed. Swelling has gone down as well but his leg was still too weak to allow him to walk; and he will be on crutches for the next couple of weeks to come.
Rashid added "I can't wait to attend Woodlands' next home game!!"
That's the spirit, Rashid! Here is wishing you a speedy recovery!
