It took the Harimau Muda of Malaysia all of 68 minutes to find a way past a committed and resilient Woodlands Wellington side in Saturday evening’s Great Eastern-YEO’S S.League game at Woodlands Stadium.

When they finally did it, though, the visitors scored with the simplest of goals to take the lead, before going 2-0 up three minutes from time to deny the Rams even a share of the spoils.

Hope Springs On For Rams After Recent Showings

Many might think that the 2012 season is as good as over already for Woodlands Wellington, as they struggle to collect any points to lift themselves off the bottom of the Great Eastern-YEO’S S.League ladder.

The Rams have languished there for some time now, but are still capable of moving off the bottom if they can string together some results, which the quality of their play in recent matches suggests they can achieve.

OPOD's S-League Team Of The Week~ Round 20

Woodlands Wellington produced an impressive comeback to hold Hougang United to a draw, after falling behind to two early goals.

Goh Swee Swee pulled one back for the Rams before skipper Daniel Hammond, who had a good game throughout in defence, headed in at a corner to ensure Salim Moin’s side came away with a well-earned point.

Congratulations to Daniel Hammond for being selected!
